Depends where you are coming from...

It rains more in the prairies and in Ontario in July than it does in Van... but it does rain a bit occasionally...

The evenings can be cool- esp. near the ocean- be prepared for that.

Depends also where you are goin in Van? Inland is warmer in the day (can be ALOT warmer than the coast), north shore can get a bit more precipitation...

Lower Mainland is a large amount of microclimates-- be prepared for anything!

except snow....
(unless you are in really high elevation and a huge cold front comes down...)

July and August is our hottest and driest months by far. Temperature during the day can get to the upper 30s (degrees celcius) but tends to be cooler by the water (beaches, seawall, etc) So bring your shorts, T shirts, etc. and a light jacket for the evening.

Cheers,

The temperature should be around 20-30 degrees Celcius. It doesn't rain too much in the summer so you will likely be safe, but it is the west coast, so it wouldn't hurt to be prepared for a little rain.

It's usually pretty hot, but rain happens even in summer. Bring t shirts and a sweater just in case. You can always buy a light rain jacket and umbrella if you need to.
