Does anyone actually realise that not ALL Christians are the same?

We don't all threaten people with hell and damnation, we don't all hate and bash gay people, we don't all try and get prayer in schools...etc etc

So when you are saying hateful stuff (and yes I realise some Christians do this too) please keep in mind that not ALL Christians are the same.

Brett: it was obviously a statement to those who constantly bash others. I am daily called, stupid, cruel, a gay basher, a sickening excuse for a human being..all just because I am a Christian.

How is that unsubstantiated..and you are around here enough to know that this DOES happen.

Satan: I do realise all Atheists are not the same, and I have NEVER tried to "save" anyone on here, so once again you assume I am a Christian who does that...thus the basis of my question.

Thank you. I honestly believe that non-christians see a couple "christians" spouting hatefull things and they think all christians are that way. Its good to hear you say that.

Amen, to that, Beverly! Hell will be real, but it won't burn throughout the endless ages of eternity. That's another lie the devil has spread - Who could love a God that burns people and keeps them in pain for thousands of yrs. for the sins of their 80 yr. life span! Read John 3:16 again - it says they will perish! See Malachi chapter 4 - a prophecy about the destruction of the lost. They will be as burned up grass under the soles of the saved people's feet...

Yeah, but most nice Christians are too busy leading their lives to post evil sh!t on Yahoo Answers and protest at funerals, that sort of thing.

I've also noticed that they rarely proselytize. They're much more secure about their religion and spirituality and don't need the validation of "saving souls" to help make them feel better about their decision.

Maybe that turn the other cheek bit was a prophecy--if you wanna follow Christ, you're gonna have to face a lot of criticism because of it. But JC doesn't have a lock on the non-violent protest...

Same or no all that believe the god of Moses over the God of Jesus are wrong period. If you believe they are the same god then you are really confused.
