For me it's both, but mostly for learning, I want to be able to perform good in bed at all times.

I learned by jumping in with both feet and just doing it. I became pretty good through repitition repitition repitition repitition. I dated a girl for 5 years and we did it like banshee's. I know my way around the female anatomy pretty good. I learned a lot while I was with her. I use that experience now, and can make a girls tummy twitch enough to give her abs-of-steel. Porn can be good and bad. Good if you are watching/copying with a girl. It is bad if you are with a bunch of dudes at a stag party or something.
