Ive always wondered if real house painters spray paint on using like compressors or those wagner guns or do they still use a crew of guys with brushes?

Professional painters may do either. Of course, they use a "professional" spray gun or the best of brushes depending on their prefference. If they spray they still will use a brush for "cutting" and trimming. Some will even use a roller instead of spray or brush.
The difference is the "pro's" do a good/proper job of PREP. They make sure paint is clean and loose paint is removed then bare wood is properly primed. If they don't do a good prep job then they are not really professionals!

Both. Brush painting costs more, but it is preferred by artisans who can do a better job. Spray painters just want to get the paint on and get their money.

it all depends on the area of the house they are painting...a lot of people now days spray b/c they still charge a ton of money but get done in half the time...in small areas or detailed areas they will roll brush...

It all depends on what they are painting. I have seen them use
sprayers, brushes and rollers.
