Try reading a pleasant book to fall asleep. Or listen to some relaxing music. Or pray to God. If that doesn't work than try to focus on something. Like try to think of all the names of the kids in your 3rd grade class or something. Good luck

I had a similar problem when I was younger and my family first moved into the house we now live in. My brother slept in the extra bedroom downstairs and I was the only one that slept upstairs. One thing I did that helped me adjust was just spending time upstairs in my room by myself during the day or evening when I got home from school. I'd have the lights on and I was safe and comfortable in my own room, which made me feel better knowing it was safe once I went to sleep. I know it sounds kind of silly, but it worked for me. Good luck!

It depends on how old you are...if I told me parents, they would just laugh about me. Think of everything you love before you go to bed. I always have the same thoughs before I go to bed. And in bed. I get so scared. One time, at night wne noone was home, I wanted ot make a smoothie with a smoothie maker thing that I have. Well it makes a lot of noise so when i turned it on, i got so scared becasue it sounded jsut like a saw. I kept turning it on and off because iwas so scared and never even made the smoothie! I guess im just like you. Most of the things youre scared of is actually form movies. for ex., you are scared of the ring girl. Just remember shes not real!

talk with your parents about your fears at sleeping upstairs alone. Maybe your brother would be willing to switch rooms with you. I'm sure as a family you can work this out. I'm enclosing a link were you can light a candle. Light a candle and pray about this situation.

Go sleep in your brothers top bunk, it is fine. Also tell your Mom or Dad that you are afraid and don't feel ashamed it is not a big deal to be afraid when we are alone.

Well, I had this problem too when I was a little younger...
You can put a nightlight in your bed, check all the stuff in your room before you sleep, keep thinking good things in your mind, or talk about it with your partents, don't be ashamed about it, it is normal for everyone.
