How do I figure it before actually working with a dealer rep? Do I haggle for the price first, then present the discount? Or is the discount just off the MSRP? Will appreciate the guidance, please!

It's a set discount off the MSRP, so just tell the salesperson up front that you're going through the Friends and Family program and save both of you the aggravation of haggling. I don't know the exact discount but it's probably around invoice, or slightly below (1-2%).

Note, however, that it is possible to get a lower price by just haggling, but there's no guarantee it'd be a significantly lower price, and a big selling point of the Friends and Family program is that you get a big discount with no haggling.

If it is like the Toyota discount, your dealer has to call the manufacturer and they will give them a sale price, then the manufacturer will reimburse them for the difference.
