While it is usually considered a fruit, a coconut is in fact a nut. However, botanically speaking it is not a true nut, so I guess it depends on what sorts of nuts cause your allergies.

I'd speak to your doctor about this because they should know exactly what you should/should not avoid.

Well, there have been some reports of people with tree nut allergies that were also allergic to coconuts. The best thing that you can do would be to get an allergy test by your doctor to find out exactly what you are allergic to.

i dont think you can eat coconuts, they have a dairy product in them thou
