They were Roman nails similar to many that have been found in various excavations. The were about 6 - 9 inches long and about 3/4 inch wide. They were generally square and quite blunt.

I think the fact that God allowed Himself to be brutally murdered and have nails driven through his hands is a lot more significant than focusing on dumb details that don't matter, which is what a lot of people seem to care about on here.

may god have mercy on you mate, does it matter, but what happened did an it must have been horrible, that's why its called crucifying doh,as the nails are driven through his hands and feet.
