Well see that is yours and a few others take,
but a few billion people for the last 2000 years see it in an entirely different Light.
Thusly, if some don't get it well they will just have to deal.

the unique Hebrew & Greek word for hell reported interior the bible meant, mans grave, no longer a place of torment. besides the Hellfire coaching does not degree as much as what the bible describes God as be a loving father or a God of love as point out at a million John 4:8. it may be unloving and vicious for a literal discern to punish his baby for undesirable habit with the help of placing him on hearth on holding is provide up a flame. It same same is genuine of God (Psalms 80 3:18). A trustworthy Bible student H B J

I know no one like that, nor do I have such an imaginary friend, nor do I know of this eternal hellfire. I see though, I am a Christian, so this would not apply to me.

well, when your imaginary friend is an all powerful super being there's a lot of imaginary and real life perks in worshipping him.
the imaginary perks include ... being a priviledged chosen person who is privy to the mysteries of the Universe, knowing THE Absolute Truth, an assured trip to bliss no matter how rotten you are, a membership in a celestial exclusivity club, getting your very own golden throne and jewel encrusted crown when the world ends, a shot at judging nonChristians and consigning their unforgiven butts to hell (a very satisfying "neener neener told ya so" moment), have absolute moral authority anytime you hold a Bible in your hand, never have any doubts or questions concerning your righteousness AND you get to feel persecuted for Jesus' sake no matter how much power your religion has in society.
real life perks include ... preferential treatment in the job market, a huge lobby in Washington DC pushing your agenda, massive multi million dollar mega churches in which to humble yourself before your god, you can ignore facts that are inconvient to your theology, you can run for public office with Jesus' endorcement AND you get to feel persecuted for Jesus' sake no matter how much power your religion has in society.

It really seems as if you want someone to say that Jesus is their imaginary friend. You put it into several questions. I think we figured that one out. Now about your name. Now who is not telling the truth about the Bible verse below your name. Your twins? 11? 15? If you didn't know it was a verse, you may want to read it and possibly change your attitude or your name. Please don't stop searching.

Get a job, get married, and have kids, than you won't have time to worry about going to hell - you'll feel at times you're living it! Seriously, the way you feel now will change as you grow and start living "life" and then you'll be praying to God instead of questioning him! Life is a lesson and we all struggle through it. I love the term "life sometimes gets in the way" when we are having a crappy time with it!

I don't know.
Then again, I don't know anyone who does this.
If you are trying to talk about religious folk, you are doing so ineffectively, as there is a difference between an imaginary friend and a god.
Imaginary friends are made-up beings that children can see and play with. A god is a being, even if unreal, of a different nature.
If you are trying to be sarcastic, you might be more effective if you do so with an accurate concept in mind rather than trying a childish insult. Not only might it be more effective, you might look better yourself.

Hah. That's my favorite scripture quote and, in my opinion, the best reason to not be Christian. It's actually the scripture that kickstarted my atheism. Of course, some Christian friends wanted to give me "insight" into the famous Pauline misogyny by telling me it didn't "count" because it was written for people of the time and not modern folks.
The Sky Daddy threatening me with death and hellfire if I don't toe his line and be a good, little wifey was another bit of Christian logic that I couldn't tolerate.

No one can tell you if it is imaginary or not. The only way anyone knows is to die. Would not hurt to believe in something or you will fall for anything. True or not true is it not easier to do good and believe "just in case" there is a eternal hellfire? It will make the world and people in your life better while you are on earth.
