There is no inherent purpose to life. You're free to completely waste all of the time you're alive. Or unquestioningly accepting everything a pastor tells you. Or figure out what has meaning for you.

It's your life and your choice. What do you want to do with it?

The phenomenon we call life is a mechanism invented by DNA to make more DNA.

There is no intrinsic purpose in it - though you can make one for yourself if you think about it.

Hint: being nice to people will tend to be quite rewarding if you do it properly.
