PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese Frosting


Prep Time: 10 min
Total Time: 10 min
Makes: 2-1/2 cups or 20 servings, 2 Tbsp. each


1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, softened

1 tsp. vanilla

1 pkg. (16 oz.) powdered sugar (about 4 cups), sifted


BEAT cream cheese, butter and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended.

ADD sugar gradually, beating until well blended after each addition.

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

"A decadent whipped cream and cream cheese frosting that has everyone asking if they can lick the bowl. It pipes very well"

Original recipe yield:
1 frosting for a 2 layer 9 inch cake

PREP TIME 15 Min
READY IN 15 Min

INGREDIENTS
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 cup white sugar (Granulated Sugar)

**But some people make this recipe with Powdered Sugar, as you will see in the "Reviews" section at this recipe site.

1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream

DIRECTIONS
In a small bowl beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form; set aside.
In a large bowl combine cream cheese, sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat until smooth, then fold in whipped cream.

Servings Per Recipe: 12

ingredients:
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), at room temperature
1 pound confectioners' sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
In a bowl, blend together the cream cheese and butter. Gradually add the confectioners' sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla.

you can add things to the recipe like pecans or some sort of extract...experiment with different flavors

Mostly cream cheese plus say1/4 - 1/3 of its weight in butter, creamed like mad with a whisk.

Icing (powdered) sugar to taste whisked intothe above

Flavouring - which ever you like, perhaps brandy or lemon juice/grated rind, even vanilla, but I find that a bit too bland. Whisk this in last
