Posit: An infinite number of moments cannot be traversed.
Premise 1: The series of events in time is a collection formed by adding one member (moment) after another.
Premise 2: A collection formed by adding one member (moment) after another cannot be actually infinite.
Conclusion: The series of events (moments) in time cannot be actually infinite.
If the universe were made up of an infinite number of moments stretching into the past, we could never have come to the present moment, since we would have to traverse an infinite number of moments to get to the present moment; Impossible.
Cosmological Argument - Gk. Cosmos: “an orderly arrangement”
This argument states that there must be an effect for every cause, and God must be that Cause.
Syllogism 1
Premise 1: Every effect has a cause.
Premise 2: The universe is an effect
Premise 3: There cannot be an infinite regress of cause, and effects.
Conclusion: There must be an Uncaused Cause.
Syllogism 2
Premise 1: Everything that moves must have a mover.
Premise 2: The universe is moving.
Premise 3: There cannot be an infinite regress of cause, and effects.
Conclusion: There must be an Unmoved Mover.
Syllogism 3
Premise 1: Everything that begins to exist has a cause.
Premise 2: The universe began to exist.
Conclusion: The universe has a cause (God).
Ontological Argument - Gk. ontos “being”
Syllogism 1
Premise 1: If God exists, we must conceive of him as a necessary Being.
Premise 2: By definition, a necessary being cannot not exist.
Conclusion: A necessary being must exist.
Syllogism 2
Premise 1: If God exists, we must conceive of Him as the greatest conceivable being
Premise 2: By definition, the greatest conceivable being must exist or He would not be the greatest conceivable being, since one could conceive of something greater than Him, namely one that exists.
Conclusion: Therefore, the greatest conceivable being (God) must exist.
Syllogism 3
Premise 1: If it can be conceived, it must exist.
Premise 2: The concept of God is universally conceived.
Conclusion: God must exist.
Teleological Argument - Gk. teleos: “end, or complete”
This argument states that the order of the universe evidences intelligent design rather than chaotic chance. Therefore, there must be a designer.
Syllogism
Premise 1: If there is design, there must be a designer.
Premise 2: The universe in all its parts has a design.
Conclusion: There must be an Un-designed Designer.
Moral Argument (Anthropological)
This argument states that all people have a concept of right and wrong. This concept must have come from something outside of them—a Moral Absolute.
All people have a conscience. This conscience must reflect some conscience outside of them.
Syllogism 1
Premise 1: Moral laws imply a Moral law-giver.
Premise 2: There are universal objective moral laws.
Conclusion: There must be a Moral law-giver.
Syllogism 2: (C.S. Lewis)
1. There must be a universal moral law, or else:
(a) Moral disagreements would make no sense, as we all assume they do.
(b) All moral criticisms would be meaningless (e.g., “The Nazis were wrong.”).
(c) It is unnecessary to keep promises or treaties, as we all assume that it is.
(d) We would not make excuses for breaking the moral law, as we all do.
2. But a universal moral law requires a universal Moral law-giver, since the Source of it:
(a) Gives moral commands (as lawgivers do).
(b) Is interested in our behavior (as moral persons are).
3. Further, this universal Moral law-giver must be absolutely good:
(a) Otherwise all moral effort would be futile in the long run, since we could be sacrificing our lives for what is not ultimately right.
(b) The source of all good must be absolutely good, since the standard of all good must be completely good.
4. Therefore, there must be an absolutely good Moral law-giver.

Take a deep breath. Touch something. Look at something. Think about things like how does a sticky little mess after sex turn into a grown thinking man or woman able to function as we do. How does a tiny seed turn into a flower? How does an acorn turn into a mighty oak tree?
You could argue that science explains the answers to these questions but where did science come from? If you trace the existence of this world and everything in it back as far as you can there had to be an origin. Where did that tiny speck of dust that began it all come from?
God is a term used to describe a higher power. God or The Universe or The Higher Power or whatever name we have for it is the Origin. And then the question is where did the Origin come from? You could question as long as you like and answer each question. But there will always be another question.
I was brought up in the Catholic Church and questioned for years. What finally solidified my faith was when I opened my eyes and started to see all the synchonicities there are in life. How many times have you asked for help with anything and it came to you in some form or other? It may not have been what you expected it to be but it was exactly what you needed when you needed it. Think about that for a while and the answers will come to you. You'll start to believe when you're ready.

Well think about it this way: If He didn't exist how would the world exist . . . unless you really want to believe you come from a monkey or fish? . . . or you could go with the big bang , but who made the particles that clashed? Not likely. Any case, what makes the wind blow the sea waves . . .etc Something must be doing that -my explanation GOD. Also I understand that this isn't funny, but i once heard a joke where the teacher wanted to know how the kids knew God exists. She said that we know the wind blows because the leaves ruffles, we know there is a sun because there is light. So the little boy raised his hand and said How does she know she has a brain - has she ever seen it? The same is with God some things you just believe.

If it's not God, then for me it's someone who looks after me then. When I was in my all time low, somehow "He/She" (presuming it was a god or God) made it better by giving me something to live for again.
In some instances, I've been giving insights or forewarnings that I couldn't have thought of on my own. Once something bad happened and it just so happened that I closed this deal that somehow managed to pay for it or else I would have landed my self in very deep poo.
Lastly, Through all the struggles I've had to endure in my life, though, sometimes the trials are so unbearable, I can always count on a great outcome afterwards.
You can call it anything you want, luck, fate or even God. There is something at work here and it isn't just me, us nor is it man-made.

there is actual evidence of a God that exists or existed. That evidence is us. Now look at it this manner: we are here, alive and respiratory. some form of existence source had to of created our existence stress. whether God is a capability in area or another being, he does exist. people like opt to declare it replaced into the enormous bang that created each thing. yet how approximately this: What if the enormous bang replaced into God? easy count and dark count colliding, would reason the introduction of each thing. besides the undeniable fact that it is going previous our comprehension. existence can no longer come from something that would not incorporate existence. If there replaced into no existence, then there could be no existence. Our physique is created from capability and that's what God is created from. it particularly is how we are in his image. that must be how he's with anybody in any respect time. as quickly as we die, our soul (capability) can no longer die. It would desire to the two bypass into yet another existence (Reincarnation) or decrease back to the suited source. capability would desire to proceed to be shifting because of the fact ineffective gadgets do no longer incorporate capability.

The Natural Law. Read Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, particularly the early chapters. Lewis was an atheist until the age of 29. He then became a theist, and finally a Christian. His early chapters, however, are solely about whether or not atheism is true. My friend, this book was written for just a person as you!

There are miracles happening everywhere with god when people have prayed for help. Prayer is powerful. I'll give you an instance;
There was a member of our church who had a tumor, and was dying. Our pastor told us and our Church prayed for them. The next Sunday our pastor told us that the tumor was completely gone. You can't see him, but he's there.
If you want to believe pray to god, and ask him to give you evidence that he exists. you'll be amazed. I'll guarantee you. it may take a while, but he'll put a miracle in your life.

Nothing anyone says cant 'make' you believe. That is something you need to research on your own and talk to God about.
Also, if somebody had concrete proof that God exsisted our world would not be as corrupted as it is today.

At church they give you Jesus crackers...just kidding (but they do!)
Anyway it's obvously a belief that is your heart, its not something/someone that you can see or prove you just know their there. Take some time and read a few parts of the bible and decide if you believe such things could of happened in the past. I'm sorry there isn't a more direct answer but that's all I got..love in my heart and some Jesus crackers.

Well I challenge you to simply walk outside and look around and ask yourself the very same question.
Examine the order in creation and I think it's quite clear that God exists. We live in times of disinformation and the truth is concealed. It's up to you to find the way.
If this helps,
Albert Einstein, who it's safe to say was smarter than you or I, stated:
"When you explore the outer most perimeters of the Universe and human mind, there is no logical explanation for it all other than God".
If God was good enough for Einstein, he's good enough for me.
