God is not any religion. Religion is a developed institution of humankind. God can exist without religion. All he wants is a relationship with us. There is a big difference between a relationship and religion. I am a born-again Christian who is in love with God because He loves me and sent His son on my behalf. I do declare myself a Christian because I am apart of the institution called Christianity; I declare myself a Christian because I am a "little Christ" striving to be more like him and grow closer to all that He is.

in mankind's search for self and sense/origin they created a name for what they cannot describe, a code and symbol - god
religion = a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny
spirituality = points to our interiors, our subjective life
Of the definition of spirituality is first of all the concept of soul, the not materially to determine principle on the basis of which we live, important. It is called the essence of our being. Spirituality without a soul doesn't make any sense. The concept of the soul is used to contrast the human with the animal interest.

God is Love and out of love he gave us the Bible which is older than the Koran, but we are having trouble interpreting it.
