find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise (running, jogging, swimming, cycling etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

well it depends how much time you have if you have 4 weeks i ll tell you my diet i started out by finding how much calories i can burn in a day then the next day i ate less then i can burn then i started walking or treadmile 30 min a day i lost 20 lbs that way

You can't just go and eat one of those food from TV or anything. It's not healthy and you shouldn't try it since you are still so young. Just try to exercise and eat good. Don't eat too much junk food but do not starve yourself.

cut back on snacks and the amount of food you eat. dont put urself on a diet. its a waste of $$$$$. you r only 30-40 pounds overweight. relax
