Many thousands of children were evacuated from London during the Blitz, (3 and a half million people) in total, many of the children, so I don't see why Ealing should have been any different than other areas.

Some where shipped to country locations in England, Scotland & Wales, some children were sent by ship to Australia and Canada.

A large number of children were evacuated from London once the Blitz began. It take long for the parents to bring many of them back because they felt their children needed them and parents needed them also despite the risks.
