Have our generals forgot how to fight wars. Like gen patton said "I don't like to pay for the same ground twice" But that is exactly what we are doing now.

Political Correctness and cowardliness on the part of politicians.
We are still waste deep in Korea and we lost Vietnam using this strategy.

If you think we're on the defensive, talk to a few troops who do the fighting. Problem is its like getting rid of cockroaches. They're everywhere and just when you think you've got 'em whipped - six crawl up your leg!

It's hard to fight a war in which one defeated has 10 waiting to fill their shoes!
It's a war of principles now...they want the west out...don't you think it's best the middle east settle thier own scores and the west stay out of it?
