In our current language, honest may be a better transation.
2. Due to an addition to God's word that occurred about 100 years ago (after correcting for the addition); I noticed something (I assume you did it niavely); the Lord (not lord) was the Lord Jesus. The sons of god is a phrase that I have not discerned yet; other than realizing man is as a god (Gen. 3:5-6).
The Bible (not scripture) has wrongly divided God's word; and man has the choice of correct it or not. The current division in Christianity in the USA is evidence it has not been corrected by many.

Job 1:1 KJV
(1) There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
Job was consider a righteous man in God's eyes. Righteous because he heard and obeyed him and believed. He always made sacrifice for sin for himself and his family. Perfect did not mean sinless it means he did what he was suppose to do. Perfect today we think of someone being beyond error. And in this story this is not what it means. It means he walked a righteous life before men and God.
Jesus was the only perfect man because He is God.

If you are not bound to the commandments, you'll be a perfect person for just being yourself. "They'll see God in the face, " since they have nothing to hide from God.
But first you need to follow the commandments for now.
If you accept Jesus in your heart for real, if you really believe he saved you from your sins, why you cannot see God face to face? When you have Jesus in your heart, you are not bound to the commandments any more. (This may sound like Gnostics, but they were wrong for confusing one time experience with 24/7 state of mind being one with Jesus)

Other versions describe him as "blameless" or "honest inside and out". It is true that no man is perfect...this description of Job means that he was righteous. When a man is described as righteous it means that he is striving for perfection and living as right AS POSSIBLE in all that he does. So, although he is not perfect, he is not living in blatant sin.

i have to say this, and please forgive me, because i know it doesn't answer your question. you see, Job is a touchy button with me, and one of the main reasons i have no respect for this god of the Bible.
i am an atheist, so I don't believe any of it, but let's say for the sake of argument that it is all true. being perfect and upright gets your life destroyed to make a point. it was that way with Job and it was that way with Jesus. perhaps just as Jesus was created to meet an end, Job was created perfect for the specific purpose of having his life destroyed so god could have the satisfaction of telling satan "i told you so".

God confirms this character of His servant Job. He cites Job to prove that a person can live a blameless and upright life. It's called holiness.
