I keep a fan in the room with the air directed outside. Aside from dusting everyday, can anyone provide an easier solution.

I have an amazon and two conures. I have asthma. The dander is atrocious. I bought a small air purifier with HEPA filtration. It's helping a lot, but not completely "solving" the problem.

I find that regular bathing helps, too. A bath every day keeps the dander away.

Try adding a Humidifier to the area to add moisture to the air and the dander should fall and not float everywhere.
I have 5 birds and our himidity here is almost always 50 % and no problem with any dander.

Giving them a daily bath with help lots, along with a good filtration system. The product for the allergy is from Canopy.

When dusting nevery use a dust cloth and spray. Always use your vacuum cleaner to dust. I purposly went out and bought a rainbow vacuum cleaner for that purpose. Check them out on ebay, they are great for a bird room.

Good Luck!

Cockatiels do produce a lot of dust naturally. You can spray them daily with water, change their cage paper daily, and use an air filter system.

You can actually spray them everyday; if not with water, I know there is a spray out there for just this condition but not sure what the name is. You could find such a product at your local pet store or online.
