Eautorepair.net for online access to factory service manual for a fee----if the blower works, it sounds like bad a/c blend actuator door in the rear unit. If the blower does not work, check the wire circuit--bad switch, motor, ground, resistor or wiring.

The actuator has failed it sounds like. That system is set up so that any air blown down goes through the heater core. any air blown upwards goes throught the evaporator core. There is an electric motor on the case that moves the door to direct the airflow. If it won't work from either the front control or the rear, it's likely the actuator. If it works from the front control but not the rear, or vice versa, then the problem is the potentiometer ( switch ) that doesn't work.

I only had this concern fastened on a ninety 5 Aerostar. you have become the two front and back air getting into the front. The rear fan is only blowing room temp air, as there is not any chilly air getting back to it. there's a divertor vent interior the front of the motor vehicle, below the sprint, that diverts the air to the back. The linkage has come disconnected to this vent or it has failed no longer without postpone. there is likewise a threat that between the ducts is blocked, however the diverter is possibly the criminal. The broker can restoration it, or any reliable motor vehicle A/C save. wish this helped.
