Evidently she has a strong patriotism and is proud of her new home. Why does this bother or upset you? Why don't you get your own flag and hang it out right next to hers? Can't have enough flags.

The word that comes to my mind is "poser."
That person is likely to have had a hard time in her society of origin. But disliking it is not the same as loving your new society.
I don't think anyone can develop truly deep feelings for a foreign culture after only three years.

Sounds great. Many immigrants are far more loyal to their adopted country than people born here - after all, they CHOSE to become Americans.
