I've been fat my whole life and every year people say, "Oh, you've lost weight!" But thats not what my scales and doctors say. Thats not my point.

I'm not able to go out much and I'm a vegetarian with only a few food options. I wanna diet over the summer but how?! There must be an inexpensive diet pill or something I can do because I know that being overweight isnit healthy and my parents just dont seem to get that.

[I'm turning 14 in July]

there is no magic diet pill - if at least one of them worked there would be no obese people.
find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (legumes, soy products etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Diet pills are not good for you! I have a weight problem too, it's not easy, but exercise, limit junk food, anything loaded with fat. Lots of veggies and fruit! Make sure you take a vitamin(have your parents get the right ones) daily if you plan to diet! Good luck!

you shouldnt turn to pills...especially bc you are so young, they will screw with your liver. try cutting back on the sugar adn the carbs..you will definitely see a difference within the first couple weeks if you stick with it. if you really want to change then you will work for it. go for walks and listen to music so the time will pass. also try eating 6 small meals a day. the best way to get healthy is toeat healthy..even tho you are a vegetarian you cant eat the sugar. o if you are constantly eating just the veggies then you should see a difference. changing little things mke a big difference. i wish you good luck. the best time to work out is the summer so you sweat more.

if your only 14 dont turn to diet pills for help, instead the few food options your choosing must be the wrong choices, limit your snacks, sugary, oily foods, and stick with fruits, vegitables, spicy food, and switch to whole grains...but dont deprive yourself too much because this can lead to binging later on and undo all your work, also add excercises to your daily routine

Excersize inside your home. And dont have a craving for food. If you fel like bingeing, i sugges you gargle minty mouthwash and wait 15 minutes. your urge to eat should go away. Do some crunches or running in place at home. You might lose some weight, and then not be embarrased to go outside, so you cna run outside.

Dieting is not the answer, eating healthily, and getting EXERCISE is the only thing that works.
