You can do a bible study an dlearn more about him and his word. You can find someone who will disciple you. The calling will come and you will know what to do. Waiting is so hard I know, I am very impatient, LOL! He has taught me to sit and be still though. Just find a quiet place to sit and meditate upon the word. Soak it up, observe what is around you, we can learn so much about God from looking at nature. Don't overdo it or overwhelm yourself. Take it one day, one breath at a time! We are all searching, either for who is the creator or trying to learn more about our creator. I am just so excited about your new walk and new discoveries to come.

OK, since everyone else is talking about reading the Bible and praying...which ur already doing...i won't/ Attending church is a good first step. You should interact w/ other stronger and more mature Christians that can help u to grow ur relationship w/ Christ. Another good option is an accountability partner that can keep u accountable in your faith. You can go to them to hear their interpretation of a piece of scripture u read or share prayer requests w/ them. Find somewhere where u can get involved w/ helping other new Christians or witnessing to non-believers. Any place that u can share ur faith will help u to grow because u continue to understand in ur own heart and mind how much God has taken care of you on a daily basis. I hope ur journey is blessed.

If you have not already been, then you need to RECEIVE Christ as your Saviour and Lord.
Coming to Christ in simple trust and faith, acknowledging that He is God, that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to pay then penalty which you deserved. Its moving on here to a personal trust and faith. One where you can receive forgiveness of your sin, when you repent, and turn away from your past life.
Now putting God in the driving seat of your life instead.
When this has occured, then the Bible says that you are a new creation, the old has gone, and the new has come. It's called being 'born again'. Read John's Gospel in the New Testament chapter 3. Read the book of Romans too! I always recommend these readings to a new Christian.
When you read the Word of God, the Bible, it is important that you meditate on that Word, so that they become LIFE to you. This will be your spiritual food, which will help you to grow as a Christian.
Also, if you would like to join my online group for Christians you are very welcome to do so

Dear Progeny,
When we try to get towards God and try to communicate with Him, we each have to realize that He is not bound to simple physical domains, but is also the master of spiritual domains. What that means to us is that we each have to gain experience with interacting with spiritual things.
Since you have not claimed to have read the whole Bible, I can recommend that you have to read through it at least once. Studying of the Bible is not a simple reading comprehension task, but is one of the spiritual "onions" that has layers of meanings, even hidden treasures if one is diligent enough to work on it.
As for prayer, do your prayers have a framework which looks like the following list?:
1. Addressing or giving a salutation to Father in Heaven
(i. e. "Dear Heavenly Father...")
2. Expressing some thanks for things you have recognized as things he's done
(i. e. "I'm thankful for the family and friends I have who are still close to me...")
3. Asking for what you desire.
(i. e. "I want to understand You better, but I am not sure if I am receiving and understanding Your messages to me.")
4. Close in the name of Jesus Christ, along with an Amen
(i. e. "I ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen")
Remember, this should be treated as a framework or shell so that you can put in these prayers your words and your heart and emotions. Also, be by yourself and say these types of prayers out loud. God really does want some one on one time with each and every one of us. But like any wise parent, He will not force things on us.
If you wish, feel free to email me directly as well. Actually, please do email me so I can see how you are doing week to week on this. What's interesting is that in a lot of mythologies world wide, there's a common theme of heroes being trapped in a confusing maze and their sole purpose is to get out of it. I personally view this information as a wonderful metaphor about life in the fact that we all have some problem times that may seem confusing. For you, this may be one of those times. So I hope that this sheds some light and help point the way out of this maze.
Again, email me if you think you need more guidance. I'll do what I can.
Sincerely,
Alvin R.

Be willing with a sincere heart,
be faithful to God,
and be ready for all he has planned for you.
Seek His face not only what he can do for you but what you can do for Him...
You have to except Him fully in the heart and allow Him to work the inside out, allow Him to cleanse you with his Spiritual cleaning..

Ask earnestly, look and listen for an answer, and don't be upset if it's not the answer you wanted.
