At what age do you start using johnson and johnson shampoo instead of the johnson and johnson head to toe? My daughter is two years old and has very sensitive skin but I have noticed that her hair is starting to look more oily faster then what it use to look.
I have oily hair myself, my hair gets oily about 14 or so hours after I wash it.
My husband (her dad) has dry hair, he can go a two days if he wants without washing his hair and you wouldn't be able to notice it.

I have a son who had A LOT of hair when he was a toddler. I think I started using regular baby shampoo on him before he was 2, and am positive he was using it by age 2.

It's gentle and tear-free and since it's made by the same company that makes the product you're using now, your daughter's sensitive skin shouldn't be affected.

If you're really concerned, I would consult your pediatrician or call the 1-800 number on the back of the Johnson and Johnson bottle ans perhaps ask what they recommend.

Hope that helps a little!

Ive always used the shampoo for all over my son since birth.. lol. Its not worth it to use something different. So long as its tear free.

Washing more often causes more oil to be produced. try not washing her hair every bath, just get it wet and brush it a little in the tub. That will loosen any dead skin, but not strip away the natural oils her body is going to produce.

That would be my first try.

You should be able to use the shampoo right away. It is very gentle. That is the only shampoo I used for my daughter when she was little ( birth - 3 years).

You can use the regular shampoo any time now. You can use the J&J or any shampoo that is tear-free. All of my kiddos have really sensitive skin too....All of them have/had eczema and it affected their scalps. :( So, I sympathize with you.
