you see i dont trust most download sites such as bearshare and limewire are theyve damaged my system in the past but i heard ITUNES is ok, im just wondering is it save to download, or will it slow down my system or crash it

IF you go straight to the apple site and download itunes it will be perfectly fine. The songs you download from itunes will be safe too because unlike limwire and bearshare, the songs on itunes are regulated by apple not by whoever wants to put a song up like limewire and bear share. That is why it is so easy to get virus on though kinds of programs. So itune and its music is safe to download

Yes, itunes is safe, they had 2 bad versions, but the current version is rock solid. As far as limewire and bearshare. Its not the programs, it's the people who use them. They are prob the #1 and #2 virus distribution there is. Virus distributers know that those two especially are catering to the lowest of the low skill set and that these people are gonna be gullable.
I work for a mfgr. If they have either of thse 2 programs, we already consider it to be infected. We cocnsider it justlike the cigarette companies. If you were stupid enough to smoke after all the warnings, it's your own fault.

iTunes is a perfectly safe site to download from. It's owned by Apple computers, a big company. Don't you think that if it wasn't safe to download, it would be on the news. Plus, you have to pay for the music you download (the actual program is free)

Yes it should be O.K. You could always do a virus scan after download. An anti virus program is a must.

wow it is safe because u have to pay for the songs so therefor it wouldent have anything to harm your computer...it hasent done anything to mine and ive had for about a year now so just download its fine
