can anyone pls tell me if there is new computer is available in 4500Rs or 50 US$?

i have heard from somewhere that 2 companies from bangalore r luanching a project which will provide new computer for sell at 4500Rs . is it true?

Well am not sure that whether its so cheap, but check the links here to know about two companies one from Bangalore and other from Chennai hoping to produce cheap computers to the public.

There is a 100 dollar notebook project with distribution through certified nongovernmetal agancies. This is just a pilot program and these computers are for elementary school level aplications. It is not a cheap computer for the average person.
