Stomach Infection! What do you suspect?

I am having infection in my stomach from the past 10 days. My bowel habits have changed and my acidity is really high. I release gas every now and then. I also have pain in my stomach. Sometimes a pinching pain to the left and sometimes to the right. After consulting my doctor, he suggested me some medications. The results in the ECD and ultrasound seem to be clear. My mom was complaining a little bit about my temperature. It's fluctuating between 98.3 - 99.3. Do you think it's a threat of any kind or should I continue my current medication? I still feel uncomfortable in my stomach all day.

Also, my stool doesn't seem to be right. It's broken. More like a diarrhea but then not completely water at all.

jim if your evaluation is normal then stick with the medicines you have been prescribed, talk to your doctor if symptoms are persisting or worsening. inquire your doctor about possibility of ibs, good luck
