Could it really be that simple. If thats the case I can do whatever I want throughout my life and then repent on my death bed, right?

If you are truly repentant and you truly believe you would stop committing the sins or at least try to stop sinning. If you know what you are doing is wrong and continually do it any way, will you truly be repentant?

yeh u could but that wouldnt make u any better than a sinner if u keep repeating the cycle,
ur meant to learn from ur sins and prevent them from happening again, a true repenter would live in fear of commiting the same sin twice, its not a man made law, its god's law,
