if i plug the sound cable from my LCD TV to my pc why isn't the sound from my PC being projected on the TV? i already have the picture being transfered by a VGA cable, but i get no sound.
I have tried all the AV's and the PC mode on my tv, none of them are working.

Whoops! You forgot how you get sound out of a computer haven't you....

Connect a set of audio cables from your Computer's sound card to the TV's PC Audio input....you may have to go to Radio Shack and pick up a RCA to 3.5 mm microphone cable since most Sound cards do not have RCA Audio connectors on them....they use headphone jacks and I believe they are called 3.5 mm...

But you must use the LINE OUT connector on the sound card, not the speaker out....don't want to blow your TV's amplifier.

Next to the VGA input on your TV you may see either a pair of RCA audio inputs, or most common, a 3.5 mm audio input (very thin like in headphones or your PC's audio output).

Connect the headphone (or speaker) output from your PC to that that audio input. So you need either a 3.5 mm to 3.5 mm audio cable or a 3.5 mm to stereo RCA cable.
