Well you got what you were looking for.... a bunch of negative opinions that fit with your own.

Now the real challenge is to pick the best!!!

'Scuse my sarcasm, but reading questions like yours that solicit all these nasty opinons of my religion that are not based on any actual knowledge, personal experience of factual information... occasionally causes me to respond.

What do I think of my religion........?
I think it is brilliant and amazing .
But you probably weren't really interested in my opinion.

Scientology is one of the biggest lies of the devil out there. It's designed to make you think that you are your own god. It that's not the biggest pile of foolishness I've ever heard, I don't know what is ! I mean, just take a look at what it's doing to Tom Cruise. He's being seduced by false teaching. Their teaching is designed to make you feel just fine about yourself. Do you get the picture ? Scientology is a cult, plain & simple !

I don't think about it much at all, frankly. I saw the movie version of "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" and that's all the scientology I needed. I haven't thought about it much since.

As mad as the others, only real difference is that has been made up recently. In fact its claims to an objective outsider may even be less ridiculous than the other religions! Theists are nuts!

I agree with Princess Plum:

All religions look odd to someone of a different faith.
Scientology is not for me, but I'm not going to knock it either.

It's so-called, just as you describe... but in scientology, there is no god. Lol.

It is a business hidden behind the face of a religion. They manipulate with people and it could be dangerous. I talked to a woman who spent 10 years with them and she explained to me that it was a big company and nothing more then it.

I don't know much about it, except that Tom Cruise seems to be the spokesman... and Tom Cruise has recently proved himself to be a genuine freako, so, I don't think very highly of his religion.

It strikes me as a lifestyle, but not a religion. I have never been able to understand why they would call it one.
