Nope. At least according to Wikipedia. They can develop more according to the approximate litter size they are having.

Not that I'm one to trust everything I read on Wiki.

Personally, I've never seen a pregnant cat grow extras, so who knows.

The majority of the time, yes! However there is the possibility that you have a slightly deformed cat. Usually any nipples that are "too many" will either not be functional or they are small and have a low functionality level. There is also the possibility that your cat has developed a cyst of some sort or an odd bump that you have simply mistaken for a nipple. Do you plan to take her to the vet to make sure every thing is OK with her pregnancy? If so then mention this to your vet and see what he/she says. If not I would at least keep an eye on the "extra" nipple or nipples to see if it develops into a full breast or not...if it swells and gets red or sore and oozy then get her to a vet immediately!

They cannot develope new nipples, that is not in wikipedia! Here is a excerpt from the purina website:
A female cat generally has 8 nipples; two rows of four, running down their belly. Occasionally, you’ll come across a cat that has five pairs (10 nipples total), but that’s not very common. Dogs, however, generally have ten nipples.

Well, they don't grow extra nipples when they become pregnant! Their nipples grow and swell later in pregnancy as they prepare to lactate.

If you've got a pregnant cat it sounds like you have a lot of research to do to prepare yourself for having kittens.
