I would definitely suggest smoothies. You can put just about anything in them: Froz. or non froz. apples, pears, strawberries, kiwi, banana, papaya, mango, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, melon, etc. And you can also put yogurt, milk, nonfat dry milk, juice, etc. And, of course, add sugar or honey if it's not sweet enough, but the juice is usually pretty sweet so be careful. :)Some of my favorite combinations are
1. Strawberries, banana, plain or vanilla yogurt, and milk or juice.
2. bananas, milk, vanilla extract, and sometimes I put vanilla ice cream
^_^ Hope this helps! ~~Lauren

It might sound weird but baby food!

you might need to season it a bit as they obviously put hardly any salt or pepper in it but the range is fantastic and its in a weird but paletable form. At least this way if you suddenly really crave a beef casserole you can have one, surviving on furit smoothies would be a torment! also try rusks with a lot of milk they mush up to make a really healthy start to the day !

That was my solution when i had my mouth surgery.

Hope it heals up and your back eating solids soon

Mash potatoes? Smoothies? You could also try baby food because it's soft and mushy.
