try pointing one foot, your dominate foot, towards the camera. Place your other foot perpendicular and to the rear. Lean back slightly on your rear foot. Stand up straight, don't slouch. Smile!

It depends on what your best features are. As a rule, though, try to AVOID being on the edge of the picture. These days, everyone is using small digital cameras and the lenses are pretty much wide angle lenses. Things near the edge of a wide angle picture tend to look much wider than they are. People look fatter, too.

tilt you head to the side. take the pictures form above. stand slightly twisted, facing a diffrent way then ur feet, hands above your head or on ur hips!!! smile and b confident cause ud b suprised howmuch more photgenic it makes you!

turn just slightly for a 3/4 profile and cross one leg slightly in front of the other.
