I was reading tha we can install and run Ubuntu etc from a USB stick.Can somebody explain to me how exactly will I do it?

It is absolutely possible to install and run various Linux distros from a USB stick. I'm personally using both Ubuntu and Knoppix from separate USB sticks.

The actual details on formatting the usb key, formatting linux partitions, etc can get lengthy. There's some excellent tutorials and instructions at PenDriveLinux, http://pendrivelinux.com

ya i dont think its possible maybe im wrong tho im not no computer genius so i mean unless you were to make your own usb stick and put a linux instead of something else it could work
