Actually...
evolution occurs at the molecular level...a mutation must occur before it can passed down... So Evolution is as much chemistry as it is biology...
but to answer your question...
people don't understand science. Like the girl above me said..."[All she knows is that god exists]" That is what her schema allows her to understand...
Ignorance is the worst sin to man.

Well said, Douglas...

In my experience, it's mostly not their fault. These types of people found science class very hard and are willing to accept the words of people with no knowledge about science, but knowledge in other fields.
People with a science education understand that smarts is not the same as an education. I'm a BIOLOGIST, and pretty smart for my field, but that doesn't means I have an indepth understanding of nuclear physics. If I have a nuclear physics question, I ask a Physicist, if I have a medical question, I ask a doctor, if I have a question about bridges I ask an engineer.
People without a firm science education tend to think smarts in one field (say, physiology or theology) means a person understands EVERYTHING. So if a pastor who REALLY knows his bible says evolution is bunk, they really don't care that he may've failed every bio course he's taken since 9th grade...they literally have no way to discern his limits.

The unanswerable question is for how long beyond the "recent past" the ratio of C14 to C12 has remained constant. If (and I'm not saying there was) there was a time when the ratio was considerably lower, samples obtained before then would be dated as much older than they really were, since they already began with a lower ratio of C14 to C12.

I don't call evolution mock science. It does not meet the criteria for science. It is a theory. As far as using sceince to prove the age of "bible artifacts", I don't worry about that either.

I believe in the Bible, but I don't rule out any science theories either. History shows science theories gain favor and some are droppd by the way side or proven right. I think the verdict is still out on evolution.

There was a question on here not too long ago:
Atheists if you had to guess how it all began, what would you say?
Turns out that the atheists, just like the theists, don't know all of the answers. They didn't know exactly how it started and they admitted it.
We may never know. Science can't "prove" it and we can't "prove" that God really does exist. Isn't all of this just a matter of opinion?
Why are we letting all of this hate fester over an opinion?

Evolution is a THEORY, not science. It has not been proven; there are gaps in the evolution "process" that have not/can not be explained nor proven. Evolutionists try to push this THEORY off as fact or science so it has been correctly categorized as "mock" science (true science cannot be disproved).
In a fit of Political Correctness some people decided to include teaching about evolution in schools. It was never taught as a THEORY, but as fact. Because the young students were given the THEORY as fact and were not given any other theories to contradict evolution they BELIEVED it to be true.

The Shroud of T and Wood from the Arc... are Both FALSE!
Perhaps you did NOT hear what Jesus said about these?
(Matthew 15:14) Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
Thanks, RR

evolution is a mock science to Christians when an attempt is made to use it as the original source of all life. Evolution has nothing to do with carbon dating, you have your sciences confused. Chemistry is chemistry, not evolution.

I put this in the same category as terrorists who use laptops, cellphones, and GPS to attack us because because our Western secular scientific ways threaten their traditional religious beliefs.
Definition of Theory: A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena.
