Drank Guinness myself at 50p pint and was shocked to pay 5euro for a pint in a Dublin Hotel recently.The old "bucket of slack" has got very dear.

in south west ofr ireland a guinness is anything from 3.55 to 3.65 usually but prices vary all over country you can expect to pay up to 5.00 in some dublin pubs but it will be worth it

Depends on where you are but you can expect to pay anything from E3.50 to a fiver.
The more rural the pub, the cheaper the drink =)

No its gone up a LOT, most gets taken in Government Tax, then the Bar owner gets his small share.
The reason for high prices, Unionised Bar Workers high running costs.

Don't drink that pigswill - try Smithwicks instead, it's brewed in Kilkenny and it's much nicer!
