I’m worried one day this modern oil cargo ships will unload all its oil by accident on the Australian coral reef and destroy those lovely fishes.
I heard one man made a ship to carry a full entire planet animal in pairs following the word of god. our holy pastor Bob told ones in the chirch.

I worry about the safety of the world's natural resources, as you do. I'm also an engineer and have studied the strength of materials and a bit of naval architecture as well. The largest wooden ships ever actually constructed were about 3/4 the size of Noah's imaginary ark and were a total disaster. Because wood is so weak and flexible, the ships leaked horribly and even the use of steel fastenings and steel reinforcements could not make them seaworthy. Several important naval architects, including Donald McKay, have done structural analysis which proved (mathematically) that a practical vessel the size of Noah's ark could not adequately support its own weight, if it were made of wood. The worlds largest steel ship (a supertanker) is 1504 feet long, which makes it about 3.34 times longer than Noah's ark.

If you really care to read the truth, do a search for "largest wooden ships" and see for yourself. The engineering strength of materials and naval architecture are both well understood practical disciplines. They are much more reliable than the superstitious stories of our bronze age ancestors.

we do not know where specifically noah was from, so i could have been a fairly wooden area, especially back then.. he had quite a while to build the ark. imagine how much you could accomplish in a life 600 some years long. He may have not been so "primitive", just because it was long ago. knowledge and insight have no bounds of time, even the Bible said the earth was round years and years before man figured it out. whether you consider it divinely inspired, or not. :) the ark could very well have fit every species.. seeing as how you wouldn't need wolves, dogs, foxes, etc. just a common ancestor. animals do adapt over time. if it can breed with another, its considered a "kind" so a tiger, panther, lion, etc could have just been from one ancestor brought onto the ark.

Because the ark was built to carry animals, not oil. You don't use pliers, regardless of how well constructed they are, as a screwdriver, do you?

If Noah were going to carry oil, God would have provided other materials for the job instead of using wood.

If Jesus can feed 5,000 on five loaves of bread and two fish then the creator of the world can most certaintly build an ark that will hold whatever He wants it to hold. It took a miracle. Mmm

LOL. Yes, a small wooden boat that held billions of species of plants and animals surely had an amazing blueprint.
