I'm a Christian. And not afraid to tell you all about what I believe. What I find rediculous is that while people are trashing god and everything else all you other Christians are quiet. That or you are living like the world and sinning just as much as you please. Many of you are cruel down to the very bone than profess Christ. We are to be in the world NOT of it. And they will know us by our love! Where the heck is that anymore? People you gotta step up! I
I'm not saying I'm perfect because God and I both know I'm not. But look around you! The only example of Christ many people have seen is acting worse than them themselves!
We need to shine before men....
Is there anyone out there who agree's with me?

I will fiercely love those who are on this forum. I will love them enough to tell them if the Bible says they're wrong. I will love them enough not to express my personal opinion, but what is written. I will love them enough to not name-call, condemn, or attack them personally. I will love them enough to share the gospel with them. After that, they can do whatever they want. I will also love them enough to leave them alone if the reject Christ. It's up to Him after that.

But, I will also love Christ enough to rebuke others if they blaspheme Him. He is my Lord. If I were to do anything less, I feel that I would be loving man more than Him. Not gonna happen. Let the chips fall where they may. If that makes me a hater in some people's eyes, so be it.

Yes indeed. I think the problem we have on here tho, is that not many understand what a CHRISTIAN really is. There is much confusion, some think that because they attend church, that makes them a Christian, others because they live a good life, others because they believe in God. Well, even satan believes in God. A CHRISTIAN is someone who has put their faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, for salvation.
Forgiveness for sins and a deep repentance before God.
A whole life change. The Bible says If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation, the old has gone the new has come.
A Christian is one who has been transformed by the power of the Lord Jesus Christ, and has a day to day relationship with Him, from where comes, the fruits of the Spirit. A person who is a Christian will seek to LOVE others UNCONDITIONALLY.
Hate the sin, but love the sinner.

I am a believer also, I feel it is futile to argue at the defense of God to people whose sole purpose is to argue the bible and its meaning. As a Christian you are supposed to teach the Word of GOD and the sheep will hear the truth and listen. First everyone needs to learn the truth about being a Christian and put away the false doctrines that are being taught throughout the churches in America. If you are really ready to take a stand then take up your cross daily, die to self, and mortify the deeds of the flesh. You have to be prepared to be hated by the world and persecuted for righteousness sake. Is the gospel that you preach destroying your family or bringing them together. Many people will read this and think I do not know what I am talking about but read "Your Bilble It's In Yours TOO".

The challenge is not what we say, or do (exclusively) but the word and deed matching; with the focu on Christ.

Discernment; Which is the scriptural old testament; Genesis-Malachi or the law of Moses?
(If one says Genesis-Malachi; does that violate 2 Tim. 3:16-17?) Does the scripture refer to the law of Moses as the old testament 2 Cor.3"13-14 KJV). Also apply the '2 or more witnesses' principle, Matt.18:16, 2 Cor.13:1.
To God be the glory!!!

PLEASE READ THIS IN ITS ENTIRETY TO AVOID MISUNDERTANDING WHAT I AM SAYING.

There are some who come in here professing to be Christian who are arrogant toward others and some of them even curse while they claim to follow our Lord and Saviour. They are the few, and some of them are not really Christians but pretenders who come in here to cause trouble.

There are some Christians who feel that it is their duty to give correction to other believers in front of the unbelievers in YA which is a direct violation of scripture which says we are to settle these things in private. That is why people have emails on their profile.

There are many Christians in this generation who have come to a place of passivity and do not take a stand for Christ no matter where they are except where it is safe among other Christians.

There are some who are bold witnesses for the Lord but have
zeal without knowledge, and do more harm by opening their mouths than they do good, especially when challenged with opposing ideas that they don't know how to handle.

There are some who are backsliders and have walked away from God. Someone once said, "A backslider does more damage than a thousand demons from Hell." I agree.

There are also those who are strong in their faith and who take a very definitive stand for what they believe. They are generally patient with others because they know the power of sin and how it can decieve them as well as others. The are not afraid to rebuke mockers and scorners if they feel it is needed or to withhold rebuke and show mercy even when the
mockers and scorners deserve rebuke and correction. Their only goal in life is that they might please God in what they do, say and even what they think! HIS GLORY IS THEIR GREATEST DESIRE AND THEY LIVE TO LOVE AND SERVE HIM AND MINISTER LIFE TO OTHERS.

Has anyone attacked Him here on YA? Those who have ears to hear will hear Him. Jesus doesn't need to be defended He needs to be proclaimed. And the only way anyone can do that is to live Him. Do we fail? Terribly. Just as Peter who denied Christ three times and the disciples who fell asleep in the garden when He had specifically asked them to pray. Where is the love?? In you life one hopes. And as for the others who you mention, what of taking the beam from your own eye first and leaving their mote (or speck) alone. That was His instruction. When you find out how much He loves you, you won't be so afraid. Shine on, just don't burn out.

I missed the part where they were quiet. But I agree too many of the "bad" Christians are kicking and screaming while the "good" Christian let them.
I respect your beliefs as long as you respect mine.

No, I totally disagree. I would not take a stand for "Christ" as he does not exist. I would not take a stand for santa clause or the tooth fairy either.
God does not exist, there is no Father, Son or Holy Ghost.

Ahh..what do we have here..a martyr? get over it! jesus and god is a fairy tale. I guess, you are still too naive to know exactly how the bible was created and that the church picked choose what was convenient for them to put on the bible. there many, many scriptures that were left out because it did not supported their ideas of domination. I would suggest you do some research on books banned from the bible, the book or mary etc. oh yes and don't confuse believes and facts.
religion is a "dogma" a set of beliefs not a set of facts! and why is it that there are thousands of christian pastors, preachers etc. that have a different interpretations of the bible? shouldn't all you guys agree on what god wants? and also is funny how the priest and pastor ask for contributions to the church so they can live the life while you pathetic losers suffer and don't have food to eat. great job.
