It goes from your wrist to the units key, or cut off switch, so if you fall off, the engine dies, making its recovery much easier.

It attaches to your wrist...The motor stops if it disconnects from the PWC...It is a safety mechanism for when you fall off...and so the PWC doesn't get away from you...

it cuts the engine when u fly off so that the jet ski doesnt just keep idling away. jetskis idle at about 2mph and after falling off that can be a hard swim for someone after waiting a little bit. this eliminates the old safety mechanism of a steering wheel that would just turn in one direction so that the jetski would just go in circles around you
