If they're included with component sets and they look like a box, then they're probably crossovers. Component speaker sets always include separate crossover modules.

like every1 said, they are crossovers. they arent speakers, just something that the component speakers connect to. u connect the speaker wire from ur headunit/amp to the input and the speakers to their output. the crossover makes sure the mids get the mid and the tweeters get the highs. gives u better sound and wont damage the speakers trying to play a frequency that it isnt made for

you are talking about crossovers man, and they arent speakers, they control the actual audio of your speakers.
