You are not an atheist because you believe in human souls. God created every human soul and so you believe in God.

Yes it does. Atheism is simply the absence of a belief in a god or gods.
Many take it farther to include a disbelief in all things supernatural, but that's an individual thing. Believing in the existence of souls in no way makes you less of an atheist.
I also believe we possess souls, and that we continue on in an afterlife as spirit energy. I've been an atheist for 32 years.

I am not sure. But how do you not believe in god but believe in a soul? Or do you believe the soul is propelled by the human brain? If you do then there would still be no afterlife. I think you need to be more specific. Yet, techniqually atheism is just without a god so yes you would.

The Soul is the mind,will and emotions,if you believe this and do not believe in God..then yes,you could be described as being,Atheist....If however,you believe that humans also have a Spirit...then no,you would be in contradiction.

That depends on wether you believe in anything else that you deem worthy of worship...
If you don't believe in ANY higher power, then yes, you are an atheist.

A soul does not go hand in hand with a god. I feel I have a soul. This is not something supernatural, rather it is where all of my feelings...love, hate...You do not have to believe in any higher power to believe you have a soul.
That is like all who say atheists shouldn't be able to say they love anything because God is love....

Looks like you are. But you know what? It doesn't stop there. You may continue with that and form all sorts of oother opinions based upon that assumption. It's human nature to do that. Yes, or you can be called a "lost soul" , non believer, or one destined for eternity in hell. Not my words but the words of God. He loves you and sent His Son to die for you. Yes He sent Christ to pay the price for your sins and mine otherwise we are still in our sins and cannot spend eternity with God with unforgiven sins. All you need is the faith to believe Christ can save you and put your trust in Him. When you accept Christ as Lord and Saviour you will have the assurance that you will spend eternity with God and never have to face the "Great White Throne Judgment" and be sent to hell for rejecting God's gift to you His Son. Think about it, try reading in the New Testament the book of John then decide what you want to do, it only takes a few minutes of your time but you will be making an eternal decision.

Sure I have heard lots of athiest who believe in souls. They generally just don't believe there is an after life for the soul.
