That depends on the prayer. I pray to the Great Spirit at times. I pray ,in thanks,to the animals that give their life to feed my family. I pray to the Earth, the sun, the moon, the wind, water and fire. I pray to my ancestors and to my guides.
Prayer is for me a way to talk with those that are not physically with me.

I pray to God thru Jesus Christ. I also ask the Holy Mother and Saints to pray for me. I would not say it is really praying I talk to God and Mary and the Saints as if they are right in the same room with me(which they are) but in a physical sense
