It is difficult to tell for the entire Church. Each diocese is run as a separate financial entity.
For example, according to its annual report of June 30, 2006 (available to anyone who wishes to examine it), the Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles had assets of $494,204,879 and liabilities of $415,335,770.

If measured in assets then ofcourse it would be an astronomical sum. But in cold cash, really not that much. Say around 30 M.. Its that kinda figure. The overheads of the Church as a whole though again are huge, so its not like they have a massive vault somewhere, constantly accumulating money. Remember the Catholic church is also the biggest charitable organization in the world too, nothing else comes close. So while there may be a huge amount of money in constant circulation, there isn't as i said a great deal to put aside.

For over 14 centuries, the Vatican was the undisputed wealthest single economic entity in the world.
The problem is that the Catholic Church hides its wealth behind tens of thousands of front companies, blind trusts, off shore accounts and other financial loopholes to both avoid tax and the revelation of its wealth.
Globally, the wealth of the Catholic Church is estimated to be in excess of $3,000 Billion.
See:
http://one-faith-of-god.org/final_testament/end_of_darkness/truth/truth_0030.htm
The Vatican is by far the largest holder of land titles for any organisation or government in the world with visible title to around US $316 Billion of property (churches, schools, hospitals etc) and around US $2,623 Billion of investment property hidden in an extremely complex networks of hundreds of thousands of trusts and front companies.
The current market property value of Vatican City, in the heart of Rome alone is worth between US $1 Billion and $3 Billion. This excludes the value of the priceless artworks and valuables stored within its walls.
The most valuable property holdings of the Catholic Church by nation is the United States with around $50 Billion in visible property holdings and around $507 Billion in hidden property holdings through a massively complex network of front companies and trusts.
While we may never know the true and staggering wealth of the church, two facts are certain: (1) The Catholic Church steadfastly refuses to be an open book to its global wealth and (2) has not shown the slightest interest in using its massive wealth to solve worl poverty and massive problems once and for all.

A lot less then during medieval times. The Catholic Church is however huge, the financial department is corrupt but that cannot allow one to condemn the entire organization.
Especially not the various Orders most of which have a vow of poverty that command them to give away their money.

Money IS the root of EVIL................................................
so.........................................
the roman catholic church is the most EVIL institution on Earth!
Here's the Solution for the wholly roman catholic church:
Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save Your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.
Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!
Without God, there is No Love; Without religion, there are No Wars!
remember this:
"religion is Spiritual fraud"; "religion is the Worse invention of humanity" - Jesus Christ, Buddha and any one else with Spiritual intelligence.
atheists = all the people in religion = all the ignorant fundamentalists = all the cults/superstitions = paganism = wicca

Unfortunately i believe from many years of pillaging other faiths and taking ,not giving ...they must have much.Looking at history of my ancestrial homeland...they must have amassed much..as possible thousands of folk wanting to have their own belief may have had to die for their faith..and thus the Catholics got to merge those poor folks homes land and money into their coffers. Its sad...People dying to be free..Blessing on those kind folk in the land and the sea ..from the present to the past..blessed be..and as i now feel what goes around comes around..!!

Considering we have over a billion members, probably a fair amount. Your question strikes me as a tad rude, however -- do WE ask YOU how much money YOU have?

I am not really in the position to guess. Maybe you have to employ an auditor to see if they have huge amount of donation from generous people.
