time will heal the hurt of losing a loved one ..but its certainly ok to go through a period of mourning...perhaps dont shave for a month or dont listen to music

my mother died when I was 15 and my little sister was 13. It was so hard and I thought for awhile I wanted to die myself. That was 17 years ago and I'm still alive. You will miss her forever but your life will go on. You will stop thinking about her every second, then every minute, then every hour, then every day. Eventually she will become a collage of wonderful memmories and life will begin to feel normal again. I'm sorry that your hurting but you have to go on, you have no choice, she wouldn't have it any other way.

I am so sorry. You can get through it but it will never go away. Just do all of the administrative things that need to be done step by step and get through it however possible.

You will. My mom died 6 years ago, and I still miss her but she shaped me into a strong woman, so I'm coping and you will too. I'm not suggesting it'll be easy, but take your time, grieve, feel, and over time it'll hurt less and less.
