After cleaning your ear with hydrogen peroxide, pat dry with a cotton ball. Apply an antibiotic cream such as Neosporin to your ear several times a day. If the redness, swelling, and pus continues, it's time to see a doctor. It's beyond what you can do.

Try not to wear earrings for a day or two. If you do, dip the posts or wires into alcohol and air dry before you put them in.

Oh, sounds like your were allergic or sensitive to the metal in the earring you borrowed. Be careful of what you put in your ears. I can wear only sterling or gold. Other metals seem to irritate, and my ears begin to itch and feel a little "off."

Good luck.

Whenever there is any sign of infection and when you are not sure what to use, you should consider Listerine, or even Dettol to disinfect your injury. Also, believe it or not, in dire emergency, your own urine can also act as a very strong natural cure-all for such things.

Never wait until you start to notice any puss. By then the infection may have spread too much for any of these quick-fix remedies to do any good.

go see a doctor. but for the time being, always clean the infected area with clean water and soap and be sure to keep it dry afterwards.
Please see a doctor immediately. As you have said, pus is already present in your ear...that's a sign that infection had set in. The sooner that medical intervention is done the better.
Goodluck!

Use hydrogen peroxide to clean your ears twice daily and keep them dry. Also, wear hoop earrings so that air can get to your ears.
