I know cooking Oil works, but i was wondering if cooking spray worked the same. I know I know its not good for your skin. But i am just wondering.

I'v used cooking oil and it worked great, but i dont know if The PAM spray (which is the cooking spray im talking about) would work the same.

if u wanna baste like a turkey, go ahead...why don`t u try a real tanning lotion??? if you`re that fired up to get a good tan, then invest in some real tanning products!!!

Oil is oil, but some oils react differently to the sunlight, so its the ingredients that matter.

On the other hand if you don't have a sun protection factor in that stuff, then you are not tanning, you are basting yourself.

I used Pam spray when I was younger- in my teens- wanting a deep tan. It was way too HOT feeling- quickly washed it off and gave up.

why don't u just go buy some tanning lotion-cooking spray is no good and contains no spf and u will burn! HAve you heard of skin cancer? All it takes is a few good sunburns!

Oh, it will work because you will blister in the sun. You'll really be cooked when you end up with skin cancer.....I know because I did.
If you must, at least use a good suntan lotion that contains at least a UVA and UVB spf15 or greater.

I've used cooking oil thinking it would just fry me. but i tried it, and laid out for 5 hours, and it gave me a minimal sunburn.
it was gone after a day. i'm not sure if it WORKS, but i never got burned by itttt(:
