i don't think you can wax by using duck tape. you can buy cold wax and you can do it by yourself. i don't think duck tape can take-off any hair.

Yes, you most certainly can wax yourself using the right formula, but not dick tape... please!
Waxing is the most useful and one of the oldest methods of removing unwanted hair, but it should be only used for removing hair from the hands, arms and legs.
Tips for waxing
• The skin must be cleansed by a cleansing cream before waxing.
• You must use unheated milk in case cleansing cream is not available.
• Creamy milk should not be used because it further accentuates the growth of unwanted hair.
• Use a clean towel to wipe the skin, and while spraying talcum powder, massage it very gently.
• If the thick roots of hair cause pain, then use cold cream for massage before waxing. This will soften the roots.
• Apply hot wax on the skin with a knife towards the direction of the growth of hair.
• Use a thin cloth as a bandage on it so that the cloth sticks to the skin.
• Now pull the cloth with a jerk in opposite directions of the roots of hair. The hair will stick to the cloth and come out with the root.
• The container of wax should be kept in another utensil full of warm water so that the wax remains hot and melted during the process.
• Waxing should preferably be done in an air-conditioned room or under a fan; otherwise the wax will not stick to the hair due to sweat.
• Even a cooler does not help as the moisture from it prevents proper waxing.
Immediately after waxing, the skin should be lightly massaged with lanolin-cream or a skin tonic. This will make the skin smooth and silky.
Hair takes a longer time to grow back after waxing, because the hair is removed from the root. It takes around 4-6 weeks to grow back, and sometimes even longer.
• Waxing slowly reduces the growth of hair, so the more often you wax, the slower your hair growth. (shaved hair grows quickly)
• Gradually, over an extended period of time, the hair may even stop growing in the waxed area.
• Wax is made from natural ingredients like sugar, lemon and water, as opposed to depilatories (hair removal creams and lotions), which are made from harsh chemicals that burn the hair. Sugar and lemon are both beneficial for the skin. (shaving may be harsh)
• Dead skin is removed in the process of waxing. Waxing thus doubles as an effective exfoliator.
• The skin feels smooth after waxing.
All it takes is a little practice, and once you've nailed the technique, waxing can be as easy as, well, cooking rice! The best part about being able to wax yourself is that you can be clean and hairless all the time since you will not have to take time out to visit the beauty saloon, and will not be dependent on anyone. And if you're prone to shaving in times of emergency, once your learn how to wax yourself you will not have to touch a razor ever again!? Nevertheless, it can be a little messy and you may feel that it's just not worth the hassle. If the saloon is a stone's throw away, by all means, enjoy getting waxed by professionals. But if you're tight on cash, you just may want to give it a shot yourself.
but oh no, not duck tape...!

I would not recommend u use duck tape for waxing. If u do, u may end up damaging your skin, b/c duck tape is very strong. Waxing usually last much longer than shaving and leaves your skin smooth. Shaving usually grows back within a few days and your skin is not as clean or smooth afterwards.

Probably you won't be able to do that; the adhesive on duct tape just isn't strong enough. Waxing pulls the hairs out by the roots; shaving just cuts off the part above the skin.

DO NOT WAX WITH DUCK TAPE.
if this was a good and healthy idea, more ppl would be doing it!!!!
shaving: foam, gel, or oil is applied wet skin. then u pass a razor over the skin to cut the hairs off at the surface.
LASTS- for one to three days
BEST- for legs, bikini line and underarms.
Good- its quick, easy, cheap and convenient
bad- regrowth appears almost straugh away leaving skin looking and feeling stubbly. can encourage in-grown hairs.
WAXING: wax is applied in strips and then pulled off, taking the hair out by the root.
LASTS- for weeks , but fine hairs appear in 2-4 weeks
BEST- for legs , bikini, arms, underarms
Good- long lasting. regrowth is smoother
bad- it stings, can be messy when doing it urself.

You could if you're super hairy...but its not going to do a very good job and it would hurt a lot. Waxing pulls the hair out at its root so hair doesn't grow back as fast. Whereas shaving just gets the surface hair.

Please dont use duct tape!!!
they sell waxing products at the store, either hot wax or cold wax that both work but i would rather shave.
the difference is pain, waxing hurts more than shaving but if you wax it takes longer for the hair to come out.
good luck & remember, dont use the tape!

in theorie... yes you could...The difference between waxing and shaving is this= lets pretend the area you want to claer hair from is a flower garden. the flowers are the hair. to "wax ' the garden you put hot wax over the flowers and pull up on it so the roots and flowers come out. to "shave" the garden you that something sharp and cut the stems close to the ground

No. if u try to you will get that sticky stuff on you where ever u tried to wax. and i would not reccomend shaving places like inbetween your eyebrows or arms with a razor if you simply must get the hair off you can pluck them with tweezers
