I had kittens a few years ago that lost their mother and what I did to get them to eat was I started them out with baby cereal. You know like the Gerber rice cereal that you mix with formula. I mixed that with the milk that I had been feeding them, but I left it kind of thick. Then I put it in the bottle that I was feeding them with and cut off the tip of the nipple so they could get some out. After a few times of eating it like that I put it in a dish and because they knew the taste they ate it. After a few days I started softening the regular kitten food with hot water to let it get a little mushy and they ate good. Then when you think they are ready try the solid food!

Get canned food and try and get the kitten to eat it and if it does'nt keep trying. once it's been eating it for a few days mix it up a little with dry food. Every day put a little more dry food and less canned food in it until your kitten is fully on solids.

a few suggestions
1) try opening the mouth and give it a taste.
2) let it get good and hungry but don't let it go more than 6 hours .
3) really get the food runny and add to the milk and bottle feed it.
4) put the formula in the food.

You could try adding a little milk to soft, kitten food and see if it appeals to him. If that doesn't work, get soft foods and try to shake it up with the milk to give him a taste for milk. If he drinks too much cow's, goat's, whatever's milk, he will become constipated. The kitten food+milk thing was just a guess. Hope it all works out!

while you're unlikely to guard them for regardless of reason (you're no longer obligated to), get in touch with a interior of sight "no kill" seem after. normally somebody on team will do a sort of foster discern ingredient, the place they are going to take domicile kittens who're too small to consume time-honored nutrition and bottle feed them till they're sufficiently old to grant away (and consume time-honored nutrition). you're even if obligated to the two save them or take them to a seem after, by way of fact you informed him to convey the kittens. How long have been they devoid of mom before they have been taken? (some momma cats flow away for as much as six hours or so)

How old are these kittens?
Depending on their age, there are ways to make sure they are receiving proper nourishment.
But their age is a definate factor in this decision.
I would be happy to help if you need advice as I have my own rescue and care for orphan kittens all the time.

you have to treat them like zoo's do to tiger cubs,
you have to coo them like mothers do and feed them with baby bottles treat them like they were yours basically .
just the basic cooing and tendrness will get them thru this difficult time.
