big black heavy duty trashbags.rip them apart so they make a square and just connect them together. OR a big tarp works well too. just make sure its slippery enough!

A four to 6 foot wide strip of visquine (heavy clear plastic) should work, about 15 to 20 feet long . If you have any construction grade garbarge bags, you could split the sides open and tape two together with a two inch clear tape that would really seal them together.
Two done like this should make about a 16 foot strip.

Stake down the corners and edges,(cut wire hangers in half and cut off the hook. That should make two large hairpin shapes to stake it into the ground. Drizzle a little bath liquid on it and set up a sprinkler to go back and forth over it. Leave 20 or 25 foot of running room and put it on thick grass. This should work fine. The kids just need to be careful.

Ok you need a nice and long tarp. Buy that if you don't have it. Then secure it to the ground and put all soap and water on it and invite your friends. This is much better than those stupid slip n slides

thick plastic sheeting, such as for covering windows during the winter. when i was a kid my dad had a huge roll of it, we cut about an 80 foot long piece and had a ball. just keep it wet. oh, and be sure to check for rocks before you lay it down.

we have used some plastic we had around here, just taped the hose to the one side and the kids love it. We have had 15 neighborhood kids join in

my advice would be don't!!! those things are hella dangerous. The company that originally made them has been sued so many times! but if you're prepared to get injured take a tarp and wet it with your hose and run around on it.
