I guess people in the US don;t mind their taxes being stolen for the purpose of making Bush and friends rich via "rebuilding" Iraq and the war on "terror". The twin towers cost 4 billion. Bush could have BOUGHT Iraq and Saddam and won the love of the planet...but that wouldn't make him and his buddies anywhere as rich.

Wars cost money? No way! You say we can't win so you want to cut funding, equipment and troops. How can you win a war without resources?

Let me guess, you count bodies to?

Last fall, American Prospect magazine reported that the war in Iraq has cost Americans $1.27 TRILLION (as of August, 2006). That's ONE MILLION DOLLARS A DAY for 3,487 years!! We taxpayers will be paying off this debt for generations (if we ever can pay it off before China, our largest creditor, cuts up our credit cards). -RKO- 5/26/07
