Sugar.

High blood sugar increases the production of insulin in your body which triggers increased hunger. It also can contribute to the excess production of LDL cholesterol by your liver.

Sugar causes a rise in your blood acid levels which is not healthy for your organs.

Why is fat better? Well, you can eat less of it and feel satiated. It doesn't trigger the insulin like sugar does which means you have less hunger. The 'good fats' such as fish oils and mono-unsaturated fats are linked to heart health.

Now, if you are eating a lot of highly saturated or trans-fats, that isn't healthy either, so a balanced approach is best.

If you are just trying to drop a few lbs, you can probably do that by eliminating either, but if you eliminate the sugar you won't be as miserable on your diet (because the sugar keeps your hunger high) and you are also more likely to persist until the weight is off.

For me, it would depend on the fat and the sugar. If the sugar comes in the form of corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup, I will not eat it. At least, not intentionally. The same with the fat. If it comes in the form of partially hydrogenated oil or fully hydrogenated oil (even if the label claims no trans fat), I will not eat it. Yet, if the sugar comes in say, white or brown, which is still processed, I'll eat it in small quantities. However, that's still not as good as straight cane sugar. With the fat, I will take it natural forms, such as olive oil. For a margarine/butter substitute, my husband and I use SmartBalance light. It's still all fat, but all natural and it's only 45 calories a tablespoon. I don't have much of it a day (usually a couple of tablespoons with some air popped popcorn at night), but I still try and get the good fat, especially since I'm pregnant. As I said, I still indulge in sugar, too. Occasionaly, I'll have cinnamon toast (whole wheat bread, but for now we're using whole grain rye, as my husband wanted to try it) with the SmartBalance, cinnamon, and white sugar. When I have oatmeal for breakfast, it's some brown sugar with the cinnamon. However, this is not daily, but just a couple of times a week.

Read labels. Go for things as whole as possible and avoid the ingredients I mentioned earlier and stay away from things that looked as though man constructed it in a chemestry lab, not by God in nature.

Along those lines, fruits like bananas and apples might be high in sugar, but it's natural sugar. I like bananas because they satisfy my sweet craving. When I bake with them (I use them as an egg substitute), I use less white sugar as the banana provides a great sweetner. Again, the fruit is made by God in nature, not by man in a chem lab.

I hope this helps.

detox is the best way to loose excess fat from ur body for ever
These new habits help you keep the bloat off and lose more weight.
It’s well known that today’s secret of most men and women for successful weight loss and maintenance is the Medifast
weight loss program. The first and best way to burn fat is to modify your current diet. There are three simple ways
you can begin to modify: reduce calories, reduce sodium, and reduce fat. For example, by substituting a glass of
water for a carbonated beverage, you can cut approximately 150 calories or more, depending on how much is consumed.
Even if it were fruit juice instead of water, you would still reduce calories by approximately 50 - 100..
what causes these unwanted gains in weight and bodyfat? There are three possible reasons this can happen:
(1) Eat late at night (2) Exceed your normal caloric intake (3) Lack of exercise or physical activity.
best way to speed up the metabolism is by increasing meal frequency. Instead of eating 2 - 3
meals per day, try eating 4 - 5 small meals per day, or 3 meals and 2 healthy snack meals.

Depends on what kind of exercise you're doing... how many calories you're burning... sugar is used when you burn energy... if the energy is not burned the sugar will be stored in your body, it's basically the same as fat. you need to burn more than you take in, in order to lose weight.
And reduce the intake of fatty and sugar ladden foods... they become the "sometimes" food.

good luck!!

sugar - we all need a little fat, so either would be ok to cut out. however, sugar ruins teeth, and fat doesn't
